Chris Steer Insurance Brokers Limited is a Toronto-based company that handles insurance accounts from coast to coast in Canada.

 

 Areas of specialty are Freight and Household Goods Carriers and Warehousemen, Commercial Real Estate portfolios and, in general, any commercial organization whose insurance needs are service intensive as well as requiring well above average knowledge and imagination.

 

 In the transportation field, our clients include three of Canada’s four Van Lines and many of their member agents.  That’s the Household Goods side – we also handle Freight Carriers.

 

 Chris Steer has been a regular speaker at seminars touching upon insurance of real estate and indeed can be found contributing forty pages on the subject in Harvey Haber’s book entitled “Shopping Centre Leases (Volume II)” which may be found in any law library.

 

 Our policy is to operate as the insurance department for each of our clients just as though we were the employees thereof.  Our function is to relieve our clients of all detail work having to do with insurance in order that they can get on with what they really do for a living.
